## How a repair works

1. **You get in touch** — by phone, WhatsApp (with a photo) or the form. You describe what is happening. The consultation is free of charge.
2. **Diagnostics** — NodePoint finds the cause and checks whether your data is at risk. If the diagnostics are charged, we tell you the price in advance.
3. **Quote** — we tell you what needs to be done, what it costs and how long it takes. We never start a repair without your consent.
4. **Repair** — with your consent; if a part is needed, we order it.
5. **Testing and handover** — the device is tested, and we explain what was done and what warranty applies.

Laptop died today of all days? Call +359 887 975 180 — we are open on Saturdays until 12:00. [Call](tel:+359887975180) [WhatsApp](https://wa.me/359887975180?text=Hello%21%20I%27m%20writing%20from%20nodepoint.bg%20%E2%80%94%20Computer%20repair.)

## Remote support with AnyDesk

The most common call NodePoint receives is about a problem that needs no physical intervention: a program will not start, the printer will not print, email will not sync. In these cases we connect to your computer via AnyDesk and fix the problem while you watch the screen.

How it works: you call +359 887 975 180, download AnyDesk from the official website anydesk.com and give us the number the program displays. The connection opens only after you confirm it, and you can end it at any time. Never give access to someone who called you out of the blue "from technical support" — this is a common scam.

## Laptop repair in Burgas

NodePoint repairs laptops of all brands at the service centre at 47 Tsar Kaloyan Street in Burgas. Apple laptop (MacBook) repairs are carried out by a specialised partner service — you leave the laptop with us and we return it repaired. The most common problems are overheating and fan noise, slow performance, a broken screen or hinge, a battery that does not hold its charge, and a laptop that will not turn on.

Overheating is usually caused by dust and dried-out thermal paste — cleaning brings back normal temperatures and quiet operation. For slow performance, the biggest difference comes from replacing a mechanical hard drive (HDD) with an SSD: the system starts in seconds instead of minutes. Screens, batteries and keyboards are replaced with parts compatible with your specific model; the timeframe depends on part availability.

## Desktop computer repair and upgrades

NodePoint repairs and upgrades desktop computers in Burgas — power supply, drive, memory and graphics card replacement, cleaning and reinstallation. An upgrade is often better value than a new computer: an SSD and more RAM extend the life of an office machine by years.

Before suggesting an upgrade, we check whether the motherboard and processor allow it and whether the computer meets the requirements of Windows 11. If it is not worth it, we tell you.

## Printer repair

NodePoint repairs and maintains printers and multifunction devices — from home inkjets to office laser printers. The most common problems are paper jams, faint or patchy printing, consumable errors and a printer that "disappears" from the network. Network problems can often be solved remotely. We work with the official importers and service centres of Brother, Canon, Epson and Xerox, which helps with parts and warranty cases.

## Can data be recovered from a damaged drive?

Often, yes — the chances depend on the type of damage and on whether the device was used after it happened. Deleted files, formatted drives and logical faults can usually be recovered. With physical damage (clicking, drive not detected) the work is more complex and not always possible.

Most important: **stop using the device** immediately after the loss. Every write to the drive can permanently overwrite what you are looking for. Do not install recovery software on the same drive.

NodePoint recovers data from HDDs, SSDs, USB sticks and memory cards. Physically damaged drives are sent to a specialised partner data recovery lab; before that, we tell you what will be done and what it will cost.

If the data must serve as **evidence** in a dispute, the procedure is different — see [computer forensics](https://nodepoint.bg/en/services/computer-forensics/).

## Sale and delivery of computer hardware

NodePoint sells and delivers computers, laptops, parts, printers, network equipment and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). We work with the official importers and service centres of brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, MSI, Fujitsu, Gigabyte, ASRock, Samsung and Microsoft — the hardware is genuine and comes with the manufacturer's warranty. If you are not sure what you need, we will suggest a configuration based on your work, not the most expensive one. Quotes are available at the service centre, by phone or via the form.

## How long does a laptop repair take?

It depends on the fault and on the availability of parts. Cleaning, a drive replacement or a reinstallation usually do not require ordering parts. Replacing a screen, keyboard or battery depends on delivery, while Apple repairs and lab data recovery depend on the partner service. NodePoint gives you the exact timeframe after diagnostics, before the repair starts.

## Opening hours and bringing your device in

The NodePoint service centre is at 47 Tsar Kaloyan Street, ground floor, Burgas. Opening hours: Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00, Saturday 09:00–12:00; closed on Sundays and Bulgarian public holidays. We accept equipment on site and, when needed, come to your address.

Before you come:

- bring the charger;
- if possible, back up your important files;
- write down your login password or tell us on site if it is needed for testing.

Cannot come in? Send a photo on WhatsApp — we will tell you what the problem probably is, or help remotely. [Call](tel:+359887975180) [WhatsApp](https://wa.me/359887975180?text=Hello%21%20I%27m%20writing%20from%20nodepoint.bg%20%E2%80%94%20Computer%20repair.)

## How much does a computer or laptop repair cost?

The price depends on three things: the type of fault, the parts needed and the time required. Part prices change often and every fault is different, so NodePoint does not publish a price list: we diagnose first and give you a quote, and the repair starts only with your consent. Consultation by phone or WhatsApp is free of charge.

## Frequently asked questions about computer repair

### Is the NodePoint repair service open on Saturdays?

Yes, NodePoint is open on Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00. On weekdays the opening hours are 09:00 to 17:00, and the service centre is closed on Sundays and Bulgarian public holidays. Outside business hours you can message us on WhatsApp at +359 887 975 180 or send an enquiry from the website — we reply within 24 hours during business hours.

### Do you repair MacBooks?

Yes, we accept Apple laptops, but they are repaired by a specialised partner service. You leave the laptop with us and receive a quote and a timeframe before the repair starts. Laptops of all other brands are repaired at our own service centre.

### Is there a warranty on repairs?

Yes, NodePoint gives a warranty on the work carried out, and the manufacturer's warranty on new parts is preserved and passed on to you. The scope and length of the warranty on labour depend on the type of repair and the condition of the device beforehand — they are confirmed at handover.

### Can you help me without me bringing the computer in?

Yes, if the problem is in the software or settings. We connect remotely with AnyDesk after you confirm, and solve the problem while you watch. If it turns out to be a hardware fault, we will tell you whether to bring the device in or whether we should come to you.

### Will I lose my data when my laptop is repaired?

No, a hardware repair normally does not affect your data. The exceptions are a Windows reinstallation and a drive replacement — in those cases NodePoint transfers your files beforehand, if the drive can be read. If the data is particularly important, say so at the start; when in doubt, a backup is made first.

### Is it worth repairing an old laptop?

It depends on the fault and the model. An SSD and a cleaning cost little compared with a new laptop and often give years of extra use. If the repair is expensive (for example a motherboard) or the laptop does not support Windows 11, NodePoint will tell you it is not worth it.

### Why does my laptop overheat and switch itself off?

The most common cause is dust in the fan and dried-out thermal paste. The laptop heats up, the processor slows down, and at a critical temperature the system shuts down to protect itself. Cleaning and fresh thermal paste usually solve the problem. If not, the cause may be a faulty fan.

### What should I do if I have deleted important files?

Stop using the device immediately. Every write to the drive can overwrite what was deleted. Do not install recovery software on the same drive. Call +359 887 975 180 — the less the drive has been used since the deletion, the better the chances.
